I dont think I've got a favourite type but Sunflowers would be in my top 5 because they look so happy!

I also like Gerbera's, my auntie had pink ones for her wedding. The pink ribbon around the stem was held in place with diamond headed pins - they looked beaut!

Christmas Bauble Earrings

This is a little idea I had for Christmas, they are very EASY to make!

STEP 1 - You will need:

• A selection of small Christmas baubles
• 2 x jump rings
• 2 x earring fish hooks
• Jewellery pliers

STEP 2 - Choose the baubles you want to make into earrings


STEP 3 - Using the pliers open the jump rings and attach to the bauble, add in the fish hook and close the jump ring


STEP 4 - You now have beautiful festive Christmas bauble earrings! J

Blanket Stitch

To prepare for making felt Christmas Stockings I've found a handy tutorial for learning how to do the blanket stitch : How To Do A Blanket Stitch.

Its a good stitch to use with a thick fabric or material like felt and will also look pretty around the edges of a christmas stocking!

Anyways, as of yet I haven't shared any of my crafting creations - mainly because I'm undecided what type of tutorials I should do - videos or pictures? Maybe both? Personally I like to have clear instructions and lots of visual help, I'm hoping to put up some this week so watch this space!

Teacup Piggies

Recently I asked my 10 year old sister what she wanted for Christmas...a teacup piggy was the reply! I've found them on argos (Teacup Piggy - Argos), they are pretty cute little toys. Something not so cute is a video review that also came up in my search...

She's an 8 year old who calls herself Flutterific and reviews toys, i guess it makes sense for a kid to be reviewing toys but it made me CRINGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE so much! The inspiration for the teacup piggy toys must be because of the recent-ish hype about micro-pigs which are completely adorable!

I would love one as a pet but I don't think I would feel right eating bacon...

Dip Dye Hair

Ever get bored of your hair colour? I often do so today my friend and I dip dyed my hair with semi permanent star gazer blue hair dye. Its really easy to do and looks cool :)

Just follow the box instructions - Wash your hair with shampoo only and apply the dye to the tips of your hair. Leave for approx 20 mins, rinse well and dry.

The idea behind this blog is to share cute things and crafty tutorials/ideas.
